Title: TOUCH OF THE MASTER'S HAND, THE
As the story begins, an old man lovingly crafts an exquisite violin, assembling each piece with reverent care. The instrument is bought for a child too young to appreciate it, and soon it becomes a battered relic. Sold to a pawn shop, it must face a succession of careless owners. Eventually put on auction, no one is interested in bidding until the old violin master appears to tighten and repairs the strings and plays a haunting melody. At once the crowd realizes its worth and the bidding begins. The parable suggests that lives can be touched and renewed in the same way, either by God or by someone who sees the worth of every individual.
