Jesus stating that the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled in Himself, Jesus escapes the angry mob at Nazareth to preach in Capernaum and ends with Jesus curing the possessed boy. Part II begins with John, Peter, and Matthew meeting Jesus, followed by the parables of the kingdom, Jesus welcoming Matthew at Peter's house, the cure of the paralytic man and the story of the prodigal son. John displays his personal freedom while in prison, Matthew and Peter leave everything to follow Jesus, Jesus teaching the crowds, and the raising of Jairus' daughter. Jesus calls Thomas, John's martyrdom, Judas approaches Jesus to become his disciple, children stone Mary Magdalene's house, hillside crowds follow Jesus, a rich man approachs Jesus, Simon the Zealot following Jesus, Jesus feeds five thousand. Jesus forgiving Mary Magdalene, he sends his disciples to their missions, John visits Mary, Zealots are killed after wounding Herod, Peter professes his faith, Jesus delivers the Sermon on the Mount, and ends with Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Part III begins with the Jewish Passover and Judas' plotting to identify Jesus as the Messiah. Next is Palm Sunday and Jesus is angered in the temple and he confronts the Pharisees. Jesus tells a parable to the children and then addresses it to the Pharisees. Jesus teaches the crowds in the temple, forgives the adulterous woman, cures the Centurion's servant, cures the blind man, and condemns the Pharisees for their hypocrisies. Jesus talks to Nicodemus in the olive grove. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus talk to the Sanhedrin, while Caiaphas calls him a false prophet. Judas betrays Jesus to the high priest. Jesus has his Last Supper and gives his disciples the commandment of love. It continues with Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane, his betrayal, arrest, and questioning, Peter's denial, and Judas hanging himself. Jesus is whipped, mocked and crowned with thorns. The crucifixion begins with Jesus standing before Pilate. The crowd chooses Barabbas; Jesus carries the cross, is crucified and dies. Peter is crying in the storm as Jesus is taken down from the cross. Later, Mary Magdalene and the women go to the sepulcher and find the tomb empty. Mary Magdalene announces to the disciples that she has seen Jesus. Jesus returns to his disciples, comforts them and sends them out into the world.
